Dr. Isaak Yelizar says that even for complex cases, minimal intervention in orthodontics is a reality with Angel Aligner.
Thank you for this opportunity to share my success with a new approach to treating complex cases. As a preface, let me tell you a little about my personal journey and my philosophy for changing lives through simple and efficient orthodontic treatment.
Growing up, I had no access to proper dental care and was always self-conscious about my poorly aligned teeth. Later, as my teeth began to straighten with orthodontics, I became more outgoing and smiled more. My new smile increased my confidence and self-esteem. I went from a reserved, insecure 13-year-old to a confident young man.
This experience informed my career choice to go into dentistry. Working with patients to enhance their appearance is akin to creating art, which I had always loved, but drilling, filling, and surgery did not intrigue me. Had I gone a non-dental route, I’d have probably chosen architecture, but I fell in love with orthodontics which, like architecture, combines art and engineering.
Empowering patients, boosting their confidence, and transforming their lives through radiant new smiles are the reasons my team and I go to work each day. One of the most gratifying aspects is figuring out the direct route to achieving an esthetically pleasing smile, no matter how challenging the case. My approach to orthodontics is “Less is more.” I follow Leonardo da Vinci’s maxim, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
When I was introduced to Angel Aligner™ with their integrated angelButton™, I decided to challenge the claims of its ability to handle complex cases with minimal intervention. The cases presented in this editorial demonstrate how this appliance has revolutionized my approach to treating the wide range of complex cases we see in everyday practice and why it has become my exclusive aligner brand. With it, orthodontists now have an appliance that creates consistently predictable, beautiful finishes that can change people’s lives with simplicity and ease. I hope you see its benefits as well.
Respectfully yours,
Isaak Yelizar, DDS
