NOVEMBER 2015- NEW YORK– Propel is pleased to announce the highly anticipated launch of its new Excellerator PTTM, which will be debuting at the Greater New York Dental Meeting November 29- December 2. Leading experts in both the clinical and academic realms have praised and supported Propel’s Excellerator series as ground breaking, honoring the drivers with the Pride Institute’s “Best of Class” award in the field of orthodontics.
The introduction of the Excellerator PT will expand Propel’s line of Excellerator drivers creating a new approach for clinicians to employ the company’s proven technology, in their practices. Made of the same proprietary surgical stainless steel as previous members of the Excellerator series, the PT tips provide the practitioner with the familiar range of benefits. To support the Excellerator PT, Propel is the authorized reseller of a high-performance model of the Orthonia cordless torque driver and 360-degree contra-angle, which is compatible with the Excellerator PT tips. This high-performance version of the Orthonia hand piece offers clinicians a powered driver option, providing ease of use and comfortable handling. The driver, which is manufactured by Jeil Medical, is being made available to Propel in partnership with Rocky Mountain Orthodontics, which has exclusive rights for distribution of the Orthonia Torque driver family and accessories.
Micro-osteoperforations have been found to “accelerate tooth movement and significantly reduce the duration of orthodontic treatment” by NYU’s College of Dentistry as published in the AJODO Nov 20131. Micro-osteoperforations stimulate bone-remodeling and have been used to facilitate ideal results in both simple as well as complex malocclusions in conjunction with braces or aligners.
For those interested in learning more about Propel’s Excellerator PT, please visit the GNYDM booth #416 November 29 through December 2, or contact your local Propel Territory Manager. Special introductory pricing will be offered exclusively to GNYDM attendees who place orders during exhibit hours.
