OrthoAccel representatives accepted Silver Stevie Award in American Business Awards competition

HOUSTON (Sept. 19, 2014) OrthoAccel® Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce that AcceleDent Aura won a Silver Stevie Award in the 12th Annual American Business Awards (ABA) Competition in the category of New Product of the Year - Health and Pharmaceuticals. Manufactured by OrthoAccel, AcceleDent® Aura is the first and only FDA-cleared, noninvasive medical device that speeds up orthodontic treatment by as much as 50 percent with just 20 minutes of daily use.

The ABA competition, also known as The Stevie® Awards, honors and generates public recognition of achievements and positive contributions from every facet of business, such as new product development, marketing, information technology and web development, to name a few.

AcceleDent was one of more than 3,300 nominations submitted in the annual ABA competition, which is judged by 130 business professionals from varying industries. During preliminary judging, each entry is reviewed and rated by no fewer than five judges and it must receive an average score of at least seven on a 10 scale to become a finalist. The judges then selected this year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners.

Winners were announced in September at an awards banquet in San Francisco with more than 260 business executives in attendance.
