- SmartSTL for Remote Refinements: Orthodontists can now request a refinement scan for
monitored patients, remotely through the iOrtho platform. The AI-driven SmartSTL
technology generates an intraoral scan from patient data without requiring an in-office visit.
SmartSTL uses AI to create STL files by combining your patient’s latest IO scans, the current
stage files, and DentalMonitoring scans. - Direct Integration with the iOrtho Platform: The SmartSTL file, once generated, is
automatically available in iOrtho for refinement aligners orders, allowing for a faster, more
efficient process without additional manual steps from the doctor.
A Simple and Efficient Workflow: The integration has been designed for maximum ease of use, ensuring a seamless experience for orthodontists.
- Doctor Request a Refinement: Within the iOrtho platform, the doctor initiates a
refinement order. - Selection of Smart STL: When prompted to choose an intraoral scan source, the doctor
selects DentalMonitoring Smart STL. - Automated Smart STL Computation: DentalMonitoring receives the necessary
information to generate the Smart STL. - Validation and Order Finalization: Once the Smart STL is generated, the doctor simply
validates it on iOrtho to finalize the refinement order.
