CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 15, 2016)- Dentsply Sirona, Inc., The Dental Solutions Company™, will host a fun run on the morning of Friday, Aug. 12, as well as an ultimate closing party to celebrate the successful close of the very first SIROWORLD meeting on Saturday evening, Aug. 13.
SIROWORLD: The Ultimate Dental Meeting will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida, from Aug. 11-13, and the comprehensive educational content along with the fitness activities and entertainment events planned continue to impress.
Attendees can “Go for the Gold” at SIROWORLD’s fun run in the spirit of the Summer Olympics kicking off next month. Starting at 6 a.m. at the Rosen Shingle Creek on Aug. 12, SIROWORLD attendees are encouraged to sport their favorite country’s colors and go for the gold! (Or silver, or bronze or breakfast burrito.)
The run will start at the outdoor terrace and span around the Rosen Shingle Creek property twice for a total of 2.5 miles. This is a fun run, so it is not a timed event and participants are encouraged to complete the run at their own pace.
“Hundreds of attendees showed up in rockin’ costumes for the Hair Band 5k during CEREC 30 in Las Vegas and we’re hoping to surpass those numbers for the fun run in Orlando!” said Group Senior Vice President of the U.S. Commercial Organization Michael Augins.
After a meeting filled with robust educational content, group fun-fitness activities and jaw-dropping entertainment from stars like Jerry Seinfeld and OneRepublic, let’s GLOW crazy and celebrate the wrap of SIROWORLD at the Ultimate Glow Party!
Party goers will head to the Gatlin ballroom inside the Rosen Shingle Creek at 8 p.m. on Saturday evening in their brightest neon dress (or brightest whites) and party the night away under a sea of black lights with Dentsply Sirona. The party will feature everything from glow sticks, glow tattoos, glow jewelry and more for attendees to help complete their outfits and transcend the evening into a glowing dance party.
Popular local band Hot Property will perform popular hits from the 60s through today’s hits. (If you loved the band at our Superheroes of Dentistry party during Chicago Midwinter, Maggie Speaks, then Hot
Property will blow you away!) Additionally, a DJ will spin and have party goers going hard in the (glow) paint during the band’s breaks.
Beer and wine, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served during the party; however, guests are encouraged to grab a bite before attending the ultimate closing party.
