The small, portable device aims to reduce the need for taking traditional PVS and alginate impressions for all indications in the orthodontic practice. Rather than the traditional point-and-click technology that is limited to single image capture, Lythos’ AFI Technology captures data in real time—versus post-process stitching—acquiring high-definition detail at all angulations of the tooth surface scanned.
