LaPorte, IN (June 15, 2014) – A world leader in custom finishing solutions, TP Orthodontics introduces the iFinisherTM, a custom finishing appliance that is the latest addition to their line of finishing solutions. From the Original Tooth Positioner developed by Dr. H. D. Kesling over 70 years ago to this most recent addition, TP Orthodontics continues to provide solutions geared towards the evolving needs of orthodontists around the world.
The iFinisher joins the most comprehensive line of finishing appliances currently available.Tooth positioning appliances are widely used and proven1 slight spaces, correction of minor rotations and buccolingual discrepancies, and correcting and relating teeth in both arches simultaneously, custom finishing appliances help achieve a beautiful finish and an ideal occlusion. Fixed appliances can be removed up to six months early for compliant patients. Daniel S. German, D.D.S. developed the iFinisher specifically for aligner treatment. The iFinisher is a small finishing appliance ideally suited to provide a higher quality finish with fewer trays while treating both arches simultaneously, thereby correcting the occlusion – something that cannot be achieved with aligner trays alone in such a short period of time. “Since integrating the iFinisher into my practice, I have been able to decrease the number of aligners needed and improve finishes. This is the only proven system that guides the opposing teeth into optimal occlusion,” says Dr. German.
TPO’s Original Tooth Positioner, the Mini-PositionerTM and the iFinisher appliances all provide great results, can be customized with precision seating springs for extra retention, and are available in a wide selection of materials and various colors. The Pre-Finisher® appliance is the semi-custom appliance in the lineup and requires no impressions.
It is available in a wide array of sizes, and can accommodate extraction and non-extraction cases. A quick cuspid-to- cuspid measurement ensures accurate sizing. All of TPO’s finishing appliances can be used for retention.
TPO’s custom finishing appliances can be fabricated from models, impressions or STL files. Files and prescriptions can be uploaded directly to the TP Orthodontics Lab through easyrx®, an online prescription management system that is accessible at www.TPOrtho.com/labs
