Bothell, Wash., October 18, 2021 – The American Laser Study Club (ALSC), a specialty laser surgery and laser dentistry training organization, is pleased to become a Collaboration Cures Affiliate at the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry (AAPMD). The ALSC is joining an outstanding group of organizations focused on interdisciplinary collaboration and education for optimal airway growth and function.
“We appreciate AAPMD for inviting us to become a Collaboration Cures Affiliate. As dental professions start to focus more on airway disorders, the ALSC is seeking to partner with like-minded professional organizations that put airway health at the forefront of patient care. We will continue to focus our efforts on supporting dentists and other health care professionals with science-based laser surgery, laser dentistry, and laser safety education that is required to provide optimal patient care” stated Dr. Peter Vitruk, ALSC founder.
About the ALSC
The American Laser Study Club (ALSC) was founded in 2017 with the goal to fill the void in current Laser Surgery and Laser Dentistry Education (i.e., the physics of laser-tissue interaction, such as absorption, scattering, ablation, coagulation and hemostasis, soft and hard tissue ablation, laser safety, etc.) and help Physicians, Dentists, Veterinarians, and Practice Staff Members to excel at the efficient and safe application of laser energy in everyday practice. The American Laser Study Club designed its curriculum based on peer-reviewed physics reviews and on the foundations of laser-tissue interaction and laser surgery. The ALSC’s upcoming 2022 Annual “Breathe and Thrive” Symposium takes place February 11-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Learn more about the ALSC at www.americanlaserstudyclub.org
