Since joining Boyd Industries in 2012, Adrian has strengthened the company’s position as a dental equipment market leader. Under his leadership, Boyd has expanded its product lines, dental specialty markets and global reach. The company has transformed its business systems and obtained ISO13485:2016 international quality certification. He is a frequent contributor on topics related to innovations in dental office design, equipment and infection control.
A career manufacturing leader, he served as the Vice President/General Manager of Acciona Windpower North American responsible for the successful greenfield launch of Acciona’s wind turbine manufacturing, installation and service business. Under his leadership, the company grew to over $600M in revenues in the first 3 years of operation. Earlier in his career, Adrian held senior operations positions with Knowles Electronics, Gulfstream Aerospace and USRobotics.
Adrian earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The Citadel. He serves as an Executive Partner for Salt Creek Capital and sits on the advisory boards of The University of Iowa’s College of Engineering and The Citadel’s College of Math and Science. He is a member of the board of directors for the Florida Medical Manufacturers Consortium. He is a US Air Force veteran having served as a Communications-Electronics Officer with assignments in the United States and Asia.
